Terms of Service

Moonwork Studio is operated by Siv Vollbrecht, Jannik Laursen and Maria Berenice Lara Laursen, Viborg, Denmark. By engaging us for a project you agree to these terms together with your written proposal.

Prices shown by the calculator and on this website are guide ranges, not binding offers. What binds both of us is the fixed, written proposal we send you — nothing else.

Proposals are valid until the expiry date stated on them (typically 14 days).

Projects are paid 50% as a deposit when we start and 50% at launch or handover. The deposit is non-refundable — it reserves our time and commits us both.

Invoices are due within 8 days. Late payments accrue interest under the Danish Interest Act (renteloven).

The fixed price covers exactly the scope described in the proposal. Want to change or add something mid-project? Great — we'll agree the price and timeline impact in writing before continuing. No surprise invoices, in either direction.

You provide content, feedback and access (domains, accounts) within reasonable time. If input is delayed on your side, the timeline shifts accordingly — the price doesn't.

When the final invoice is paid, you own the deliverables: source code, design files and content, fully handed over. No vendor lock-in.

Pre-existing tools and open-source libraries we use remain under their own licences, granted to you as part of the delivery.

We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Every project includes 30 days of free bug fixes after launch. This covers defects in our work — not changes made by others afterwards, and not failures of third-party services such as hosting, plugins or external APIs.

Ongoing maintenance is available as an optional monthly agreement.

Our total liability for any project is capped at the amount you paid for that project, and covers direct damages only. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data or other indirect losses, to the extent permitted by Danish law.

Either of us can end the engagement in writing before completion. You pay for work performed up to that point; the deposit is not refunded.

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts, with the Court in Viborg as first venue.
