Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect what you type into our quote form so we can reply to you, we store it securely, we never sell it, and we delete it when it's no longer needed. The long version follows.
01Who we are
Moonwork Studio is a small web studio based in Viborg, Denmark, operated by Siv Vollbrecht, Jannik Laursen and Maria Berenice Lara Laursen. We are the data controllers for personal data processed through this website.

02What we collect
Quote & contact forms: your name, email address, and any company name, phone number or project details you choose to share with us.
Technical data: anonymised, aggregated usage statistics via Vercel Analytics. This is cookieless and contains no personal identifiers — we can see that a page was visited, never by whom.
Preferences: your language and currency choices are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) and are never transmitted to us.
03Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and prepare your estimate or proposal — the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering a contract, at your request).
To send you the estimate or proposal emails you explicitly request through the site — also Article 6(1)(b).
To understand how the website performs, using anonymised statistics only — Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest).
04Where your data lives
We use three service providers, each bound by a data processing agreement: Supabase (database), Resend (transactional email) and Vercel (hosting and anonymised analytics).
Where data is processed outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
05How long we keep it
Enquiries and quote requests: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted.
If you become a client: project data is kept for the duration of the engagement, and invoicing records for 5 years as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
06Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. Email contact@moonwork.studio and we'll handle it promptly.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, www.datatilsynet.dk) — though we'd appreciate the chance to fix things first.
07What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't profile you. We don't send newsletters you didn't ask for. We don't use tracking cookies — see the Cookie Policy for the full picture.
08Changes to this policy
If our practices change, this page changes with them, and the date above is updated. Material changes will be flagged clearly on the site.
